Since I switched tariffs on 1st July, everything seems to have gone completely wrong. My IHD doesn't show the correct tariffs, my mobile app doesn't show consumption data and costs and now, when I try to give a simple meter reading for electricity, it's asking to submit a Standard reading and a "night" reading. What is this? Economy 7?
I'm on a Fixed Loyalty v4 tariff now since the start of the month.
I've even tried to attach an image, but the Forum won't let me.....what's going on??
You're not having a very good experience since you switched tariffs it seems... but for some different reasons than me. You could just not bother with submitting a manual reading and wait for the smart reading to be taken and then try again if you feel you need to a day or two after that.
I have to admit that I haven't tried to submit a manual reading since changing tariffs and don't think I ever have done since my smart meters got to grips with things.
You could always try customer service to see if they have an answer for you.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Further to above, I have just checked my last statement and it clearly shows where my tariff changed to the same as you are currently on and only shows single readings for electric and no mention of night rates. Have you had a statement since you switched? If so you could check it out and see if you spot any anomalies.
@Yellow Strange, usually it's a tariff switch only. The meter and its details should stay the same. Give our customer services a message, Let me know how you get on and I can take a little look if you need me to 😀
