Hi on my eon account I have 2 meters registered. One I have now found out is my neighbour and is registered to British Gas. The other is registered to my address. I have tried for the past 3 months to get the British Gas meter removed from my account. I’ve contacted BG they haven’t got back to me. I’ve contacted eon through email, live chat and even had private messages through the community service and still the problem is unresolved.Has anyone else had this problem and how did you resolve it?

Are you actually paying your neighbour's bills as well? And are they paying nothing?
I would have thought a strongly worded letter to all parties (including CEO/directors etc ... easy to find on a company search) stating that you appear to have exhausted all possibilities with zero resolution so are now taking legal advice to get it sorted.
Keep records of all your correspondence, and the replies (or lack of)
Maybe try Citizen's advice for initial advice
Then approach a high street lawyer for advice - sounds like you have a strong case so the suppliers should have to pay all legal costs🤞
maybe there are "no win/no fee" lawyers who would help.
Worth making an initial approach for advice, which they should give before any costs are involved
Wow - it’s one issue after another for you, given your previous posts about not getting a bill.
Are Eon next actually charging you for both supplies? Clearly that should not be happening (if it is!). If you are paying by direct debit I would get my bank to reverse any incorrect Debits and pay the correct amounts as one off payments, but do not cancel the DD. If you are not paying by DD then I’d only pay the correct amount, not for both meters.
I would make an immediate complaint. It seems likely that the delay in sending you a bill is somehow linked to having 2 meters on your account. I’d use email rather than phone so you have an audit trail of what you are being told.
@Poppy_EONNext Would you like to send @andyl a DM asking for account details so that this could be resolved quickly?
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and think the smart meter programme is a waste of our money. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
It definitely sounds frustrating to potentially be charged for two supplies when you should only have one! And we want to get this sorted for you quickly.
I can confirm @DebF_EONNext is actively looking into this issue for you to get this resolved as soon as possible! We appreciate your patience as we get this sorted.
