As not all vehicles are compatible, are you in communication with other manufacturers I.e. Land Rover to try and widen you customer base, if so do you have any expected time line available. Thanks in advance.

Sounds interesting, couple of questions -

Is all power I use charged at the low rate if the car was charged up during the day, or just power going into the car ?

Do you place constraints on when the departure time is, for example after 4am and before 11am or can I set any time like 3pm or 8pm if that's when I'm going out.

Interesting (as is the cash back!), but the standard overnight slot covers 99% of our needs, adding 200 miles in the cheap 7 hours.

I'm not sure I'm ready to trust E.ON and VW's servers to do the scheduling - I don't want to wake up one morning and find it didn't charge and leave us scrambling to get some juice for the day. That would quickly negate any savings.

Maybe once it's proven for a while and some extra incentives - free slots or similar, then maybe...

Signed up and connected my car (Cupra V3 77kw) but trial charge fails every time then the App seems to lockup requiring logging out then setting up again. Anyone able to assist

Signed up, connected car and charger, but can’t get the test charge to work. Need to unlink and go through the whole process again, to get the same result. If Eon can contact me and help with the connection, then I can help with the trial, until then all I can say is the software doesn’t work with Škoda.

I have signed up to this and it is working - however the issue I have is that I can only set my car to be ready between the hours of 0400-1100. This defeats the object of the reason I signed up to the trial as working night shifts I need my car to be ready for 1730 for example. Is this an issue with the app or something else that wasn't notified to myself when signed up?

Ah, so they've got the same limit as the tentacled one then.
Makes sense (for E.on) - they don't really want to be providing cheap electricity except when it suits them at the rare times it's available outside the overnight period.
Our 1% of peak charging is those times we need a top-up to do the 3rd night's commute. Would be a bigger issue if the night rotas were longer.

@Lee_EONNext So I have eventually managed to get the test charge to complete and all seems ready for the first attempt at charging, however the Schedule is saying its going to start charging at 23:00 with the charge complete at 03:30? Surely this is not correct as the off peak hours don't start until 00:00? App is set to charge when cheapest to 80% ready by 08:00

That’s exactly how it’s supposed to work - use the cheapest (for e.on) electricity regardless of when that occurs - not the fixed 00:00-07:00 that might be more expensive.
Regardless, you only pay the cheap rate.
