Is anyone else having these issues?
New tariff doesn't support EV on existing tariff?

MY Smart #1 car has been on an EV tariff for 10+ months with EON, now they want me to choose a new tariff, but their newest and only EV tariff says it wont support my car.
Is anyone else having these issues? -

Best AnswerEvening @andy118 As far as I can see the Next Drive tariff is still available. There is a new Smart Drive tariff but as you are aware not all EVs are compatible. Have a look at this thread:

The following link will show you what tariffs are available:

Hi, thanks for the info, the V3 fixed tariff (the one I'm on) shows up on my linked email, but doesn't allow me to select it, It only has "select tariff" by the V6 tariff. I've tried to get a response by WhatsApp, but no response in the last 5+ hours. I'll try to phone them tomorrow whilst looking for other options. -
A couple of things worth knowing....
- you don't have to wait until your Drive tariff runs out before changing - I switched early from Drive V3 to V5 (at no cost) when the cheaper V5 became available
- you can ask to be split onto a separate gas tariff if there's a cheaper one
- for instance when I switched from V3 to V5 the gas was much more expensive so phoned CS and asked to remain on V3 for gas.... and am now switching to gas:15mV4 as the V3 gas runs out (V5 Electric tariff will run out later this year)

Hi everyone. All sorted now, on the 5th attempt at using the choose your new tariff email click through the simple V6 Next Tariff was made available to me! So I've opted for it before it disappears again. The WhatsApp lady that I notified after a further 48 hour wait with no response, which she put down to the Next Drive team doing the same to herself admitted that everything was a bit flaky at their end. With this in mind I dare not ask if anyone here has actually had a statement that makes sense yet, or actually shows the 2 separate pricing zones. Also can anyone attest to it being cheaper electric at night for the entire home, so to put timed appliances to work during the evening?
