I'm waiting to see how the next price cap levels stack up - we will probably know that in 2 months time (towards the end of November). If January cap numbers are going to be lower than v4, then I'll probably change to Next Flex or its pledge. The numbers I have for October/November £ costs for my likely consumption shows I will probably pay about £7 more (dual fuel) over the next 2 months on Loyalty v4 compared to the October cap.
my recollection was that loyalty V4 was priced under the July price cap, and now the price cap has reduced too, so the October price cap is less than V4.
The Next flex tariffs for me are currently £6.34 a month more than the Loyalty v4, which I am currently on.
This is the bit that didn't strike me as being correct given the October decrease in next flex prices has taken place.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

The opposite, surely 🤔
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
@meldrewreborn and @JoeSoap, good job that you two spotted my totally confusing statement. You are of course correct and I apologise for my incorrect post that has now been edited
That's alright - I'm very conscious that others reading these exchanges don't get the wrong idea. I'd hate to be blamed for misleading others by my posts and thus will flag them up if I think they're wrong, and admit my error when i make them - its a risk of posting quickly and without an editor looking over my shoulder.
I fixed on V4 in July. Between then and the Oct price changes, I saved about £26 compared to Flex. Based on my current consumption, I'll be about £3.60 worse off this quarter, so still over £20 ahead of the game. If prices go up 5% in January, then I'll probably be making net savings again.
Without knowing the caps for January for my region, it's a bit hard to project much further forward, but I'm estimating my total saving for the fix will be around £60 compared to Flex. Possibly a bit more.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
I realise that Ofgem have not yet announced the actual tariffs, but what are the thoughts as to how they will compare to Next Loyalty Fixed V4
True, difficult without knowing the exact figures. Still quids in from the initial savings. Staying for the duration, particularly if the prices increase around the 5% mark. Then again 'Never say never '. 🤔
