@Poppy_EONNext - it would be helpful to give the full tariff details, including the standard/peak rate and approximate standing charge (I know they vary slightly by region) so people get the full picture.

The off-peak rates are certainly very good but to evaluate what the tariff will cost you need to know everything. This gives the full picture in the South West region...

We had our detailed quote for solar plus Tesla Powerwall 3 with an eye to the 6.7p Next Drive rates so the loss of this option to battery users is a huge issue for us (we are considering switching from Octopus). House is Economy 7 with 3/4 of our 18,000Kwh annual use at night time so the 6.7p was perfect for us :-(

Why remove batteries from the tariff - surely having an EV is the same thing but with wheels on!

No EV at the moment.

My Previous comment still stands "booo" unfortunately. I don't think solar people and myself will be sticking around when v7 tarriff ends

👍 agreed, and with future developments there will be no real need to have separate static batteries at all if you have an EV, since you will be able utilise the EV battery on a V2G or V2x tariff
