Not sure I understand the question, but assuming you mean that £40 of credit is used in 4 days, then it does seem on the high side for this time of year.
if this is a prepayment meter then it might have previous debt being recovered, but outside my knowledge.
Can you see meter readings - how much does it go up by in 24 hours? -
@Ramona88
There are so many variables to consider, but £40 in 4 days is quite high. You need to tell us more for us to comment in more detail.
if you have occupied a property recently, have taken over the previous occupants prepayment key, then the recovery of their debt from you is probable as a cause, as @rwh202 has commented. I can see meter, but no check in 24h.
Only 40£ is 4 days is finish.Do you have smart meter ? You charge yourself or have direct debit ? -
@Ramona88 - maybe download the EOn app, then you'll be able to view your daily usage in kWh (actual electricity used) and also the cost of that electricity.
You can calculate the actual cost yourself by multiplying the kWh by your tariff rate to give you the amount you should have been charged. -
Good Evening @Ramona88 👋

@Ramona88
you are not answering our questions which makes this thread very difficult. It would be better for you to contact customer services and have a two way conversation so that your charges could be sorted out. The telephone number is shown in the box below. Good luck! -
You say this was over 4 days, so that's 32kWh per day = 1.3kW per hour
A one bar electric fire users approximately 1kW so you must have had something like this (and more) running 24hrs for 4 daysLast edited by geoffers; 3 Days Ago at 09:09.
