I've checked again and not only have I not been offered the v4 fix, but the rates I am quoted for Next Flex from 01 July are EXACTLY the same as my current rates, both unit price and standing charge.
My email following the Price Cap news said my SC would stay the same but the unit price would go down a fraction. The only thing worse than no information is duff information and contradictory information.
The standing charges not coming down are a bugger as I'm an electric only low user, so the savings will be minimal. I'd prefer the unit price to stay the same but a few pence off the standing charge, to be honest. Plus South Wales is up the top end of the rates, not even close to OFGEM's 'mythical average' rates. I'm nowhere near South Wales either!
Time to pull the plug and go fully off grid, I think. My heating is off grid, my sewage is off grid, my mobile might as well be so it won't be much more of an inconvenience!

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
