Hi EON havent been getting reading from my smart meters (V2's) for months, might be a year or so. Also the Chameleon IHD3 stopped working after a few months of installing and we are desperate for this to work now. I contacted EON in August via Twitter and they replied on 11th August:
My colleague has also reported the issues to our smart meter team. They will look to provide a fix within 8 weeks and we will update you on this should we need anything else for the investigation.
I have asked for an update but looks like its going through the start process again so thought I should ask it here as hopefully will get a response and elevate our stress about it.

As it is a known issue, I would hope it is quicker than the 8 weeks!
