I read some info about pressing blue button on meter to reset it? Not sure if they meant the actual meter outside in the box or some button on the display? Would it make the meter work again might try?

This is a public forum so I would strongly recommend that you don't post personal information such as account numbers. You should be able to edit your post by clicking on the 3 dots at the right hand side of the relevant post.
To send your account number etc via DM, click on the orange 'mail' icon at the top right hand of the screen, it's the one to the left of the bell.

@Teresasue your issue is with the communications hub, not the meter below. You cannot reset either.
this cannot be resolved by you, nor did you cause it. You just have to follow our advice and be patient. You are making progress though.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and think the smart meter programme is a waste of our money. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
As far as I’m aware SMETS1 meters can be repurposed. The difference will be in the communications hub which will be configured to link to the DCC system, whereas originally they linked only to one specified supplier and couldn’t cope if a customer changed supplier.
there are various steps the supplier can take to overcome signal problems. Including supplementary aerials or mesh setups. In the north its radio communication, in the south it’s a sub set of mobile. There are poor signal areas where nothing much works. Rather late in the day consideration is being given to supplemental facilities to fill in the gaps but probably still a couple of years off, such is the glacial pace of development.
