Just to close this thread out, I can confirm that my SEG was confirmed and finalised today. This is around 6 weeks from the initial application date. If you have applied for your SEG then hold strong and trust the process!
I am on the current "manual" payment system rather than the automated and streamlined system that may, or may not, be currently on trial with a limited number of users. Hopefully we all get to experience that goodness soon!

I'm eagerly waiting to hear for updates regarding the new SEG payment / recording system that is rumoured to be on trial so I will certainly be sticking around!

Currently we have all of the customers we need in order to test this trial. Once we have finished with them, we will need to look at what issues have been caused or are likely to be caused. But if all goes well we will then open it back up for the next set of customers on our waiting list.

Ditto, I've been looking forward to the new system ever since I heard about the trial :-) I'd love to be a beta tester. @Poppy_EONNext
PS I'd also be interested if you are ever planning to trial things like DFS or a time-based export tariff, I feel that home batteries could be very useful for both grid stability and flattening the 'duck curve'
