There are pro's and con's to different payment methods including costs but also many other factors including tariffs. There are often more tariffs available to customers that pay by direct debit versus other payment methods, people paying by direct debit often get cash back on their current account that other payment methods don't and other negatives of prepayment for example of needing to visit the shop to pay and the potential to go off supply, and many other factors.
Whilst we would like to support every customer with this scheme it's not something we can offer, but we will continue to review this in the future 🙂
