In this thread I want to focus on Affordability and Vulnerability however there's been lots going on in the E.ON Next community over the last 18 months with lots of changes - introducing beta testing to team changes, however, here are our most memorable changes made with our community members at the heart of it all:
- The community had a bit of a makeover with new colours and formatting - No it wasn't a fashion statement (although we do love the purple) this was to improve the accessibility on the forum making sure that the community was easy to view for everyone!
- We have made some changes to the way we update our members by introducing Service Updates, our Nextie Newsroom and E.ON Next Announcements to keep you up to date
- New new forums were added and updated with new info such as Bereavement, RTS and Affordability & Vulnerability.

Since October 2024 E.ON Next have helped over 31,000 customers with just over ยฃ70m package that was put in place to support our most vulnerable customers through our 2024 Winter Support Scheme.We have also installed around 800,000 smart meters so far - this will go a long way to helping our vulnerable customers to manage their budgets and monitor their usage!
The community has always been a great place for advice or a natter but over the winter period especially the community has been a fantastic support to many. Our Affordability and Vulnerability section has been one of most valuable sections for some of our members with these threads being our most viewed over the last few months -
- The Great British Insulation Scheme - This thread provides information on how you can apply for energy saving measures such as cavity wall insulation and loft insulation for your home
- E.ON Next Extra Support - TellJo - TellJo is a questionnaire that provides customers with bespoke support and help with our customers wellbeing
- Power of Attorney - Acting on someone else's behalf - This tells you everything you need to know about updating your loved ones account with the relevant information
- E.ON Next Energy Fund - The E.ON Next Energy fund is there to help customers who are struggling financially that either have energy debt or are in need of essential white goods.
The Priority Service Register (PSR) has been a massive focus for E.ON Next recently. This is super important for our customers as it's designed to ensure our most vulnerable customers - whether due to age, health conditions, or other circumstances receive the care and attention they deserve.
