My landlord is having to move me to the flat upstairs due to issues in my property. My current balance is in debt but covered by direct debit. When I move to the new flat upstairs can I carry my account over to the new flat by switching to EON as I believe the current supplier is someone different. Or am I going to have to pay the remaining balance for my current flat and not transfer it with me?

@Toxoph25. You really need to speak to customers services. Although you’re only moving upstairs, essentially you are moving from one property to another to another, and the distance is pretty irrelevant. When you move into a different property, you automatically start on a flex tariff with the supplier that served the last occupier of that property, although you can switch straight away.
