We were given information yesterday that this tariff was not available to customer with solar batteries however we have been advised that until the boost tariff is available (it's still in trial phases) we will still honour the Next Drive v5 for customers who only have solar storage and no EV 🙌

Hi Poppy, I have just had a solar and battery system installed, with the plan being to switch to your NextDrive v4 from Octopus but I don't have an EV. Is it possible to sign up to v5 still?
@Poppy_EONNext I am a member of a Facebook group concerned with EV / Solar / Battery owners who are either interested in, or have already switched to E.On NextDrive. As well as that, there is also a great deal of interest in the new solar tariff mentioned earlier.
Every day we see reports from users wanting to switch to NextDrive from either another supplier or, from an earlier version of NextDrive, and are told by an E.On customer service advisor that an EV is required when we know that is not the case. This is extremely frustrating for those customers that do not have an EV.
What advice can you give when these circumstances arise please?
