No - it clearly states you must have an EV, but you can currently still join Drive until the new Solar Boost tariff drops

mostly notably for our Solar customers, you must now own an EV. However - We have agreed that solar battery customers can still have the Next Drive tariff in the interim

I'm guessing Solar Boost will be for Solar or Solar+EV whereas Drive will be EV only

@Poppy_EONNext is this still the case, I had my Solar finally installed and am trying to get on this tarrif, but customer services is saying I cannot and the solar tarrifs is coming but they do not know when.

Morning @MikeBham we are taking note of interest for the Next Solar Boost - At the moment if you contact our energy specialists they will be able to complete a form with you.

The information that you will need to hand to complete the form:

• Are we your current supplier if not who is your current electricity supplier
• Name
• Address
• Email/phone number
• Usable capability of battery in kWh
• How many bedrooms your property has
• If you would like a quote for gas too.

Once your form has been completed it will be sent off and the team managing the tariff who will be in contact within 7 days (this timescale may change)

At the moment we don't have any information regarding the rates etc however we do know at the moment Solar boost is for those with solar storage with no need for an EV. If you have an EV then the Next Drive is still available.

I do know that the tariff comes with two cheaper off-peak periods of electricity a day for customers to charge their solar battery. The electricity unit rate will be a lower price during defined ‘off peak’ hours of 01:00 - 05:00 and 13:00 - 15:00 and a standard rate at all other hours of the day. I don't know if this is likely to change or if these hours are set however when you get a quote these are things that you can ask the team.

I am not currently an Eon customer, I purchased my house last year, it required a full renovation so I just left it on British Gas variable tarrif supply while it was being renovated. I had my solar system installed a week ago and am now ready to find the right supplier and after lots of research it came down to yourselves or Octopus.
While researching I came across the next drive tarrif and that seemed most suitable for me.
However I found while looking through this comunity it updated to V5 and the intention is to make it EV only and not for solar only customers.
@Poppy_EONNext has stated they will continue to accept solar customers until the new Boost tarrif for solar customers is available.
this Boost tarrf does not appear to be available as yet, therefore I would like to go on the next drive.
Where are the forms for the quotes ? I cannot find them.

@MikeBham you need to contact our Energy Specialists to complete the forms they will complete them in a chat with you - We have a form for customers and a form for people who are not yet customers - so just let them know you are not yet a customer and would like to register your interest in a quote for Solar Boost as you have solar panels and solar storage.
