As many of you may already know, Halloween is my favourite time of year! π§ββοΈ
The history of Halloween has seen that the celebration can be dated back to the Celtic festival of Samhain! In which the end of the harvest season and the break between the physical and spiritual world was commemorated, this saw people leave offerings and wear costumes to ward off spirits π»
Halloween, celebrated on 31st October is now a wonderful time for communities to come together and enjoy festive activities such as trick or treating, carving pumpkins, baking and watching spooky movies! π§
Growing up my grandparents were very big on celebrating Halloween and to this day always have fully decorated houses, a tradition that I love and continue to celebrate 𧑠I would love to hear how you will all be celebrating the Halloween season and any photos of your spooky baked goods, jack-o-lanterns and decorations!
