Just a quick note so as not to cause any confusion.
Some of our historical tariffs DO still have exit fees. If when you try to switch it comes up with a pop up reminding you that there are exit fees please refer to your t&c’s as this means there are still exit fees on your tariff.
No internal exit fees apply to our latest tariffs.
we are aware that some peoples bills are showing that there are no exit fees and this is being looked into as a matter of priority.

There has been a recent problem where exit fees have been charged when they shouldn’t have been. It happened to me but were soon refunded. If in doubt, contact customer service to facilitate the switch so that you can clarify the situation.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

I have had different response from the WhatsApp team (who say no fee to change tariff) and the hi@eonnext.com team (who say fees apply when changing tariff).
I can confirm that we have no internal exit fees. The wonderful @JoeSoap is correct, it was a recent change 😊 would you mind popping me a DM with your account details so I can feed this back to our Energy Specialist at hi@eonnext.com 😊

I didn’t quite say that. I still don’t know if internal exit fees have been scrapped retrospectively.
This instance is a case of Eon Next advisors saying different things to a customer whose statement says there are no exit fees yet a warning appears when a switch is attempted.
I see my exit fees have been removed on my latest statement for my next secure fixed 12m v1 but if I try to change to a new tariff it still warns me I'm going to be charged £150. Have fees for Internal tariff changes definitely gone? Can you get it fixed for me too @Han_EONNext ?
... Have fees for Internal tariff changes definitely gone?...
I have been asking the forum staff this question for over a week now and still have no answer. Customer Service should have this info but even they contradict each other. Shameful really.

I think this is pretty unequivocal so I may just go ahead anyway I presume Hannah can get it sorted for me if I do get charged.
