@retrotecchie π I wouldn't worry. Life is too short for all this smart this and smart that, and having an apps for watching your dog wreck the house or switching the coffee machine on. It's time to return to the ways of the Luddites. Without the hair shirts of course. π€
The Doom Engine is good on a Windows PC. You can run V1 of Wolfenstein off your floppy. Assuming you still have one that is. π€£
1. I got rid of the dogs so no problem there π
2. I AM the coffee machine.
3. I still have all four sizes of floppy drive. 3.5", 5.25", 8" and 3" Amstrad/Sinclair. Plus 3.5" in Amiga format. Iomega Zip 100, 250 and Jazz too as well as a couple of tape backup drives. You never know when you'll need them!
4. I still have a Windows 3.11/Dos 6.22 box for playing really old games like Doom or Myst. EGA on an analogue monitor rocks!
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
I backed up the APK from my phone and ported it across to the Nexus - lo and behold: it works, and also has the functionality (and the January gas readings) in the latest 1.12.846 app update, which other people don't seem to be getting Screenshot_20240121-150201_E.ON_Next.jpg/a>
I'm feeding all of this into our tech team so thank you so much for the above, as this will really help to get things resolved as quickly as possible.

Hi all,
Things are changing slowly. I had no data showing for gas up to the 15th Jan. Now it's Friday 12th. @Anasa_EONNext. Thanks for the link to this thread.
Thanks for all the continued input on this issue guys!
@geoffers this is particularly interesting π€

@PeterT_EONNext - presumably multiple people posting the same image of the app usage screen with missing gas data is pretty irrelevant: we know the app isn't displaying this for some people.
Surely it would be more relevant for the "tech team" to know what version of the app people are using, plus their device; OS; OS-version etc; even their location (since there an earlier reference to problems with the "BOL" Up North by @WizzyWigg π)

- I agree, and as silly as it sounds, our tech team request to see a particular number of examples just due to the minor differences that are present (albeit, a very small difference π¬)

- This is completely true, and I couldn't agree more. I will update the main post to ask for this also if people are able to provide it, so thanks for this suggestion @geoffers as I'm sure our tech team should ideally be having this info too!
Just wondering if there's been any update on this issue, as I've still got no gas data on the app from 1st to 12th Jan, but now I've also got no gas or electricity data for 25th to 29th Feb, then no gas data for1st March but data for both for 2nd March! This is using version 1.12.1041 of the app on iOS 17.3 on iPhone 12 Pro Max
