Have posted this somewhere in the community but wondered if it may get more views in here as hoping someone can help!
I signed up to the demand flexibility scheme at the beginning of this winter and have been invited to several events. Haven’t had emails about any events for a couple of months and then this week had another mail asking me to sign up - which I did.
haven’t had any acknowledgement that I have signed up or any invites to events so have asked via WhatsApp to confirm I am enrolled in the DFS and the customer advisor is unable to help
Just a thought, have a look in your online account (in ‘Profile’) and make sure your Smart Data preference is still set to half-hourly as well as your email notifications switched on.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
You may receive a text, email or both once you've opted in.
Have you received anything since you last replied in relation to the Powershift from E.ON Next at all?
Let me know, and if nowt, I'll see what I can find out for you 😊

Early on this winter I thought I had signed up for DFS with Eon Next but due to my mistake in the registration process I did not. If you enrolled with another participant, as I did, you would probably find yourself being unable to take part with a different participant to that which you initially signed up for. So when I tried to re-register with Eon Next I was unable to and will be the case until the next DFS scheme starts later on in the year.
havent received anything and tried asking the question and the advisor couldn’t tell me. I suspect I’ve since done one with Loop as they invited me and as I can only be signed up with one scheme will now be with them ?
would rather be with eon so if there’s anyway you could sort it all out I’d be really grateful

If Loop was the first scheme you signed up with, then you are effectively stuck with them until the 23/24 scheme ends. Possible snafus also occur when signing up to more than 1 scheme i.e duplicate MPANs with 2 or more registrations. The very first one (LOOP) might be OK but any subsequent (and therefore duplicate) MPAN registrations with a different participant (Eon Next) will almost certainly cause issues. Vice versa with the 2 participants you have mentioned and highlighted in bold.
If you are getting invites with Loop then just stick with them - don't bother trying with Eon Next at this stage. 🍻
first signed up with Eon Next …. Signed to loop (by mistake) and they said you can’t be with 2 so asked for confirmation if I wanted to stay or not (said not) …. Had some events with eon (3 I think) and then it went quiet. Having had no more events I then got the email from Eon Next asking me to sign up so I did and have heard nothing from them since. Last week Loop offered an event so went along with that so no idea what’s going on really 😂
@Saz It sounds like your Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN) may be registered with Loop for the Demand Flexibility Service currently and this will be why it's silent from the E.ON Next front when events are taking place 👀
I'm afraid @Mailman is correct here in stating that effectively, you may need to wait until the 2024/2025 Demand Flexibility Service to start up in order to change this over from Loop to E.ON Next.
