Any advice on the Jan 4th statement? My total electricity was £9.98, so how come it became £193.52?
I'm guessing (as we only see a portion of the statement) that £9.98 refers to usage from 1st January 2024 and the £193.52 refers to usage from 1st Oct 2023 to December 31st 2023 inc.
Which seems about right for three months in a single person low-usage flat. That's about what I would expect.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

Without seeing the entire statement I have no idea. If there is nothing on that statement (probably somewhere above the Electricity Charges) then that would be a question for Customer Service. My own preference is contacting them by email on hi@eonnext.com so I create a traceable conversation trail.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

You have the smart readings for the 1st of Oct 2023 and the 1st of Jan 2024. Doing very quick maths I've got the amount for that period less the DD of £105.29 paid in Dec to £192.74. I didn't go into great detail with the calcs. Any help? 👴
Only a guide but certainly think the £193.52 is to do with Oct to Dec period.
We usually see reverse charges when there has been a billing error previous;y, sometimes the system would re-bill that reversed period.
Have you been in touch with customer service at all about it? We are open via social media if that helps?
I would be looking at the bills and the readings trying to follow a pattern and see if there is anything strange, appreciate it's strange already. The estimates on the above attachment are from the tariff change dates.

I wonder if the revised billing is a conversion from E7 to single tier billing? Just puzzling still.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

You may be correct. The bill for that period comes to £406.86 though. Subtracting a DD of £105.29 leaves £301.57. I'm totally baffled 🤔
In case this might help, I am on Economy 7 using a dual rate (R1,R2).
The statement generated in January in your post suggests that you are now being billed on a non-Economy 7 rate (i.e. Standard Next Flex). Is this what you want?
If this is what you wanted, when did you transfer to Standard Next Flex?
There should be an audit trail of precise tariff change dates within 'My Messages' contained within your online account if that helps.
I agree with you Joe it's very baffling. I've revisited my pen and paper calcs and come up with these. 😵
This is in the right ball park for £ usage costs between 1st October and 1st January. 👍
But the kicker is none of us know if/when the OP changed over to being billed on a non-E7 tariff. ATM all we know for certain is that Eon Next changed sometime between 1st October and 1st January which is why I've been asking for this missing statement(s)
