A Thank you to our Community

We want to celebrate and say a big thank you to those who have been going above and beyond on our forum.

I think I speak on behalf of everyone at E.ON Next to say how much we really do appreciate you! 💜
The forum wouldn't be where it is now without you all.

From the chatters to the lurkers, we see you and we appreciate you! The forum has been built as a safe space to talk about anything and everything. Where we can have a bit of banter, but also have those discussions and feedback for us to ensure we're doing our best to help and support you.

Our community is full of amazing people and I feel really proud to be a part of it.

I would also like to take the opportunity to thank these people @Anasa_EONNext @DebF_EONNext @Han_EONNext @Connor_EONNext @Lee_EONNext @HannahD_EONNext and @Beki for being so helpful and patient with me since I started as I'm still trying to navigate my way around this side of the internet 🤣

I would like to say thanks to @Anasa_EONNext and all the great team of Nexties for all the support you provide and all your hard work.

I'd also like to give particular thanks to @retrotecchie @WizzyWigg @JoeSoap @Mailman and @meldrewreborn for all your knowledge and the advice and information you provide, plus the laughter, the banter and the camaraderie.

My very best wishes to you all and your loved ones for a Healthy and Happy 2024.🍻🥂🎈✨

I echo all the above sentiments but I would also like to add a special thank you to all the Nexties and the Comrades and especially to you @Tommysgirl.

2023 has been a rather 'interesting' year for me in a lot of ways, some good and some bad but the 'highlight' of the year, if you can call it that, was having a rather nasty stroke back in February. Fortunately, I had excellent treatment from the NHS and particular thanks go to the Stroke Unit at Bronglais Hospital who got me in (despite the ambulance strike!), ran me through a scanner and got the clot-busting drugs into my system within the three-hour window. Two days in hospital and then a month of recovery, confined to the house and not being able to drive, and I managed to recuperate sufficiently that I'm pretty much back to normal, give or take the odd 'funny five minutes' here and there.

A special thank you to you @Tommysgirl for your messages of support and for 'being there' for me when I needed a friend in my darkest hour. Your banter, jokes and encouragement kept me smiling and gave me a 'lift' when I needed it most and you are a shining example of the compassionate and caring side of the Community.

But thank you everyone...the Community is the people who make it .

Thank you so much for your lovely words. That really means a lot to me. I'm very pleased I was able to keep you smiling and give you a 'lift' when you needed it. You and your banter with the other 'wise men' have given me a lot of smiles and laughter this year, so thank you too. I'm fortunate to have had a much better year than some recent previous ones, and I really value being a member of the Community.

And a big Thank you to the Community team who are here because they're super passionate about our customers and building a community 😊
