Trouble connecting to smart meter

Oh and the IHD- we don't have one. When BG installed the first smart meter they left the IHD but it never worked. We live in an old farmhouse with very thick walls. They took away the IHD when the installed the other smart meter.

Thanks for the photos. I'll tag @retrotecchie and @theunknowntech to see if they can look through the thread now to see if they can come up with anything.

I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

The Citizens Advice meter checker should also say which supplier the meters are with. If BG 'took the supply back', it should say so.

It's with Eon now according to the citizens advice meter checker so that's a step forward compared to last time I checked this! Our gas meter has also started communicating with Eon as I can see when logged in that it's giving smart readings.
