@retrotecchie Sounds like a plan. Thanks. An email this morning told me to try something I had already been told to try 3 weeks ago or so. It didnt work then....why on earth there can't be a consistent record accessible to all employees is beyond me.
please review this thread and consider whether Eon Next is complying with its obligation under it licence from OFGEM?
Thats as polite as I can be for what seems to me to be a disgraceful situation.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

As the OP has pointed out that they were switched from PAYG to standard credit, can we also assume that they are being billed a daily standing charge for a gas supply they are not actually getting?
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

Does it make any difference? PAYG still incurs standing charges, doesn’t it? Cue stampede for PAYG if it has none.
Yes, but if they are off-supply through no fault of their own, PAYG or account matters not. If they choose not to use any gas but have a working supply, the standing charges are valid. If they want to use gas but there isn't any to be had because of a meter fault then taking a standing charge for the period in question is rather wrong in my opinion.

That was exactly the point I was making, So i didn't understand how it added to the discussion, where we both have expressed our complete dissatisfaction with the response.
