I’m hoping someone can help me. I’ve moved to Eon Next for the Next Drive tariff.
The move to Eon Flex (first step of the move) went very smooth, and I’m showing my account that a transfer to Next Drive is in progress.
However, when I log into my account it is showing an error as Eon can’t connect to my Smart Meter which I think is holding up the final step.
I have a SMETS2 meter that measures dual rates for both import and export.
I use Loop and that is connected fine to my meter, does anyone have any recommendations on how I can get this resolved as Eon Support have been looking into this for a few weeks.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Nick

Reason: Correction
It can sometimes take up to several weeks for smart meters to become fully functional when switching suppliers. My gas meter certainly took many weeks to go smart again after switching to Eon Next. I'll tag @geoffers who may be able to advise further on this.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
@JoeSoap ahh I thought might be the case, but haven’t switched suppliers for a few years now. Just wanted a bit of re-assurance that I wasn’t waiting for someone to flick a switch somewhere 👍
Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Sorry I can't help - I went through a similar process in July - transferring in from BG into Eon Flex, then requesting transfer to Drive which happened with no problems. (Getting a statement for my usage since then has yet to be resolved however 😜)
