I thought I'd start a new thread on this, as the discussion is probably lost in the depths of the other (currently 75 page) thread...π
The "Bright" app now allows the entry of the customer's own tariff rates (including ToU tariffs) so if the tariff currently showing on your meter/IHD is wrong, you can now get your true energy costs displayed using "Bright" π
I've entered my Next Drive tariff back-dated to July
So at long last can now view the actual costs based on this tariff information
Note, the jump in cost between 7 & 8 was me taking a shower & boiling a kettle! If I'd got up a bit earlier I would have showered at the cheaper rate π
@geoffers
From what I can gather at the moment this tariff changing bit is only on Android and not IOS. Willing to be proved wrong.
I think you may be correct. My iPhone is up to date with IOS16 but I can't see any update available on Bright. I have been offered the chance to update to IOS17 but being a chicken I'm hanging on until any major glitches have been ironed out.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

Thanks for that information on Bright. Not having an iPhone myself I was going on info from Apple store. Don't know about iOS 17 but my good lady has the earlier version of your phone and had an upgrade on Thursday to something or other with no problem. I'm not allowed to play with the boss's phone. I'll have a read up later and see if anything spooky about 17.

There was an update to IOS 16.7 that I put on yesterday but I continued to ignore the invitation on the bottom of the update screen inviting me to upgrade to 17. Cluck cluck cluck π

Now now, remember PPMA. π
Had to upgrade the boss's MacBook to Sonoma yesterday under instruction. Again no problem and no moans from the boss π. So far πΆ.

Back on topic.... βΉοΈ
Looks like "Bright" are updating the usage data more frequently too, since my data today was updated at 02:00 am and 19:00pm
Don't know why the EOn app lags by 3 days to show the data (currently showing usage for Wednesday, and today's Saturday)
Sorry @geoffers please accept my deepest apologies for invading your thread.
You're welcome to post anything on any of my threads @WizzyWigg π. It's a public forum after all. As this is a thread about an app update it seems to me that discussing what devices the update works on is not too much of a diversion. You live and learn.
