Hi everyone, is it worth doing a 12 month fix that’s now available. It’s saying it’s slightly cheaper for gas and electricity than the tariff I’m on at the moment. It does say £75 fee to leave but does that mean if you change to another supplier and not change to another EON tariff should one come up before the 12 months is up?

Reason: Spelling mistake oops
''You can arrange to switch to another of our tariffs or to another supplier at any time without giving notice, but if you switch supplier before we send you your renewal notice we may charge you an exit fee. See your confirmation letter for details.''..
See this link and look under Section 11.2 - Terms for our fixed tariffs
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Did you get a chance to look at @JoeSoap and the reply? it has the best information on this, however to clarify. If you wanted to change supplier then the exit fee could apply, now switching tariff but still with Eon Next? Then no we wouldn't charge you the exit fee.
It might be an idea to contact customer service and discuss what the best tariff is for you, they wont be able to tell you to switch however they will give you all of the information needed to make a decision.
Let me know if you need anything.

A few of us that hang around in here fixed to Next Loyalty Fixed v4 a few weeks ago and are happy with our decision. Eon Next early exit fees only apply if you switch supplier (but always check what applies to the particular tariff you're looking at) so you can always move to another Eon Next tariff if a better deal comes along.
