Hi i have solar system with battery back up but have ben charged for 160kwh even though the system generated 674kwh in June and so my app says i imported only 2.5kwhfrom the grid something is not quiet right
@jefftheref This shouldn't be the case at all, as you're aware SEG deal with your solar and Export payments, that's all. To me this is an Energy consumption query. Are you still speaking to customer service now?
If you're still in contact just advise that this issue is nothing to do with your SEG account and that it's a consumption query.
Let me know how you get on, any issues let me know how you get on and I will help in anyway I can.

Something doesn't add up and needs looking into, i'm wondering if the read you have been billed to is an estimate? Have you contacted customer service at all?

I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
@jefftheref Great to hear you have someone looking into this. The only thing that might be worth discussing is a meter test from your case worker or you speak to an installer to see if the system is wired in correctly. With regards to your solar I would try to focus on the physical meters over a IHD or other display.
I know you've probably worked all of this out but if you can see your generation for a set period, then the export, the units remaining should be what comes off your consumption?
Let me know how you get on and if you need me to explain anything or give you suggestions or questions to ask, let me know.
Who installed your panels? It might be worth asking for them to carry out a test, I believe it's the SLT (standard load test) maybe this will help?
@JoeSoap Thank you for tagging me.
