They did also mention to me that some people are still waiting for the firmware updates so i'm hopeful all of this will be resolved soon. Hi @LeeDQ_EONNext - is it worth me requesting a tariff update, as my IHD is still displaying the non-DD rates for the Next Flex tariff, instead of the DD ones? The tariff is correct, just the non-DD rates instead of the DD ones.

Hi @solidbond I believe this is what the update is designed to do. I would request that the DD rates are sent to your IHD. The updates usually take 24 hours, well after midnight. I would request the tariff update and potentially unplug your device and allow the battery to run down, this should reset the IHD and allow any pending updates to take place.

@solidbond Fingers crossed, the tariff update and an IHD reset should be enough to get that sorted. Technology has its own brain I often wonder 🤣

Technology only has the 'brain' of the idiot who implemented it. In the case of smart meters, he was not in Einstein's league.

I've been given a couple of IHD's to play with. They are useless here since they shut down the networks back in November last year. If nothing else, the lithium batteries will come in handy for me if I can't hack them to be any use for anything else.
