Just discharged the PVD and guess what gas data for yesterday and today!!!!! Not only that but leccy for yesterday and today as well. 😯. We are firing on all cylinders. 😁
I'm thinking of patenting the PVD and trying to see if I get any crowd funding interest.😂😂😂😂😂😂 Could I have found the solution to all the coms problems. Silly me of course not 😂.
Blimey... it's all happening now. I've just sent an email asking if they can take a smart reading from my meters. If that works then the engineer gets cancelled 🤣
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

@WizzyWigg. Never fear. Mine is still stuffed. I’ve received the new gas tariff, but not the electric and rather mysteriously one day, the day before the engineer’s visit, now appears in my usage. So there is still a way to go yet

Now that sounds just about right. 😉 I don't know about AI but my system seems to have a mind of it's own. 👾 It seems to work for a few weeks/months then stops communicating.🤔 Ok it is an old SMETS1 set up. Probably like me passed it's prime 😂.
I think there's always going to be something to discuss. Certainly for the next few years or so. Stay strong and please keep your updates coming through to the forum. 👴

Now that I know my smart meters are miraculously communicating again (as shown by up-to-date usage data in the Bright app) and I've had my tariffs updated correctly, I emailed customer service today and asked them to try to get some smart readings from my meters and told them if it worked I was going to cancel the engineer visit.
I received a reply telling me they had managed to pull readings and that they will go ahead and cancel my engineer appointment.
I checked in my online account and the health checker gave me three green ticks, including the one for having working smart meters. I also checked my meter reading history and there they were…
It seems that apart from the two month gap in usage in the Bright (which still has the incorrect tariff rates) and Eon Next apps…
Everything is working as it should 🥂😁

Sorry to hear that but hopefully my post above will give you a bit of hope that they can be fixed without an engineer visiting.
