@WizzyWigg It is supposed to work, yes. SMETS Commands are pretty standard... Unless of course some stupid bug prevents them from working properly...
S1 EDMI and S1 L+G are the worst... The former are actually going to be replaced rather than upgraded. EDMI refused to play ball.

There is actually another purpose behind the use of an IHD and one of the reasons they're given out for free. However, it's not one that I can share for complicated reasons.
Spoilsport! Should we be concerned or are the smart meter refuseniks missing out on something worthwhile?
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
I know there was an issue with some IHD's updating as they were struggling to separate the DD and Non-DD rates on them. I don't know what the outcome of this was as I haven't seen or heard anything but I'm around tomorrow so I will poke my nose in and see if I can find anything out about why this could be happening.
Can I ask are all of your online accounts showing the correct tariffs now and is it just the IHD that's wrong?

My online account is also correct. The rates on the IHD look as though they might be non-DD rates and I raised this with the advisor but was told that that the update was in line with my account which was at DD rates.
I was advised it was likely a HAN issue and to wait longer for the update to finish. I can’t understand how an update can immediately show incorrect rates and then become the correct rates later.
I checked the unit rate on my electric meter and it is the same as the IHD. I will reset my IHD again shortly and if still incorrect I will pursue my long, tedious email conversation (in which I even provided photos at there request) with customer service.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
My IHD has changed again. Only the electric tariff it's now 31.22p. I wonder if it'll change again tomorrow. Perhaps it could be generating the winning Lotto Euro numbers! 😂😂😂😂
