In the 1600βs tulips were more expensive than gold! The rich would pay up to 5500 florins PER BULB - this would be more than $750,000 in todays currency π€·πΌββοΈπ

Those who got in and out of the madness quickly would have made a fortune. By the time someone said, ''Hang on a minute, these are just tulip bulbs!'', many lost a fortune. Some compare the popularity of cryptocurrency to the tulip episode. I'm often encouraged to invest in such, but always decline whilst citing tulips. I might kick myself one day.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

My head is spinning trying to work this one out - thankfully the eyes are not.
The fact that I really liked was the naming of that great game of the 70's - SUBBUTEO
A must-have game then that now looks meeeh.
But why was it called SUBBUTEO? (I lift the following below from Wikipedia)
The name is derived from the neo-Latin scientific name Falco subbuteo (a bird of prey commonly known as the Eurasian hobby), after a trademark was not granted to its creator Peter Adolph (1916β1994) to call the game "Hobby" Nice way round the trademark.
