My gas boiler has been broken for a few weeks and is only gas appliance. Is there any way to find out exactly when the last time I used gas? I need exact time and date that it broke and last time I used gas will be the answer. Usage link on my Eon Gas bill not available. Thanks for any advice.
@Dandadgrandad
Assuming you have a smart gas meter that sends regular readings, I think the closest you will get is by looking at your last three bills to see where the readings 'dropped off'.
If your last bill says zero consumption (although there are still standing charges per day) and the previous bill also says zero consumption, then you know it happened before the previous bill. If you have an older couple of bills that suggest a typical usage of 500kWh a month, a bill that is a proportion of that usage and then a bill with zero consumption, then you should be able to infer an approximate date.
Say November and December bills have figures of around 500kWh, then 125kWh for January and then nothing for Feb, you could probably infer your boiler died around the end of the first week in January.
Closer than that....possibly not.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
yeah I get ya but have to know exact time or day I used gas. Bill shows monthly usage and it’s obvious that gas usage is lower but need to know when it stopped as I’ve not used it since
@Dandadgrandad
If you have smart meters I would suggest selecting half-hourly readings and downloading the Hildebrand Bright App. This will give you what you’re looking for.
Edit… you probably would have had to have had your meters set half-hourly back to at least the time you are interested in.

I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Hey @Dandadgrandad 😁 welcome to our Community 😎. It's great you've come to our space to get some answers; and answers you shall receive! 🧙
@retrotecchie & @JoeSoap are absolutely right in this ⭐. I do understand that it may not be possible to completely pinpoint the 'gas drop' to the second, but perhaps we could pull a reading for you and see if it has completely stopped since last time? & you could work out an average date through that?
You'd have to speak to our Energy Specialist's to pull a reading for you though.. have you done this? 😀
