I did notice that although my answer got a 'Best Answer' and got bumped to the beginning of the thread, my original entry is still showing in correct sequence in 'Latest Activity'.
As I usually look in there for action, rather than specifically following certain posts, I hadn't originally noticed the movement.
Yes but anyone reading the thread even tomorrow won’t have the benefit of seeing it in Latest Activity. I don’t think I’m being pedantic here. Where a question is asked in an opening post then the best answer immediately underneath it should be just that, and pertaining to the opening post.

Good point. I just located a question of mine in the Help section where I can choose Best Answer. Mind you , I can choose lots of best answers.
My original points still stand though. Best answers to various questions by various members throughout a thread have no place piling up under the opening post after disappearing from under the particular questions they actually answered.
Anyway, once again, I think I’ve made my point, so I should stop banging on about it 🤐
You should look at how inSided handles best answers. It does so by including a dynamically updated copy of the marked answer into the OP, but also leaves the original in-place so that the context of the thread doesn't get disrupted.
Just my thoughts.

@JoeSoap - Just refreshed my memory on this one. @Anasa_EONNext flagged this up to me and I do have one of those tickets open. I need the tech team to look into it as I have updated the setting to a single best answer, but I cannot see a setting that would enables best answers to stay where they are, or duplicate.
I'm going to chase this up though as I have a tech team meeting in the next week or so. I'll keep you updated.
Also, please don't shut up. I really love how involved you are and it's important that these things work and get developed if needed.
