Not long ago the forum administrators could arrange an update but this is no longer an option. We are told that customer service advisors now have the means to do this. All I can suggest is that you contact them again to request an IHD tariff update. Please be aware that the WhatsApp service is out of action at present so I would either phone them, in which case you may have a lengthy wait, or drop them an email to hi@eonnext.com and be prepared to wait up to a couple of weeks or so for it to be actioned.
I used WhatsApp but they only updated my electric tariff. I followed up with an email and my gas tariff soon updated even though I received no reply. Good luck with it.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
The mind boggles. It seems to me that everything hinges on whoever picks up the phone or email. I finally got a reply to my email a little earlier today saying they’ve updated my IHD and it should show the correct tariff rates in one or two days. As it already shows the correct details I wonder if it will stay that way after the new update.
You may well have to bite the bullet and phone them to insist on a tariff update. It all seems so simple and yet it’s so difficult.
Yep, phoned them and got it sorted. Made sure the 10 month old was asleep and 3 year old in front of the TV and hoped for the best!
Should be done at midnight but to give it 1 working day.
Unfortunately they didn't read the emails and. Even asked me for the tariff prices it was displaying. I just asked them tonre read the emails. Spent a day playing ping-pong with them.
@LyndseyDobbs Anasa here 👋 I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to get this sorted out the first time, sounds like the agent misunderstood what you were asking for, in instances like yours all we need to do is a Tariff update, we don't recommend resetting your IHD. Now that the update has been requested you should see the changes in the next 24 hours if not sooner😊
