I had a smart electrical meter installed late august (pictures below) and yet I've never had any readings taken by eonnext. I can access readings through the bright app/ivie and now my Wiser/Schneider electrical Drayton service, but eonnext seem to have issues.
The citizens advice link show the electrical meter as active.
Is there a process to get Eonnext to activate something on my account or enable the reading of data?
Can you describe what the 5 lights (SW,HAN etc.) on the comms hub are doing please in terms of colour, On or Off, or if flashing then at what rate? A photo of the IHD may also help... just in case.
I will tag @theunknowntech who is our volunteer smart meter and IHD expert and hopefully you will get some good advice, although I'm having some trouble contacting the maestro at the minute.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
So every 5 secs approx the SW, WAN and HAN flash green. I've not seen the MESH flash and is just dark. Gas is with another provider and the meter is dumb and not been connected to this from what I can gather.
Although I've had a banner in my account saying eonnext are having issues reading the meter, the history now actually says a smart reading was taken 1st Oct.
So it maybe its ok and false alarm.
If someone could confirm that would be great as the message had appeared only in the last week or so.
Not another read schedule bug I hope. Try getting customer service to reset it. I've seen way too many of these recently.
