In terms of our Community Values this is something that the whole Community team stand behind ๐ (not just Beki!), and all those in E.ON Next actually! Since we started to build our lovely Community it has been important for us to keep these values close to our hearts.
@Lampshade - I am really sorry that you have not had your call yet. Beki is actually not in this evening (although theunkowntech would have you believe she is a robot! I'd like to thank you all for understanding that we are very busy and we are not always here 100% of the time. Hello @Han_EONNext, thank you for getting in touch - and thank you for offering to call me - there is now no need to ... As I was initially writing my reply to you, the phone rang - and it was @Beki_EONNext! She'd been alerted to this afternoon's posts and range me on her day off - so many thanks to Beki!
Hopefully we've got this sorted now - I have a new email with the corrected rates. It's just a matter of setting the DD payment holiday - and I should get confirmation of that too.
Beki took some screenshots of what came up telling me that I could get lower rates if I paid by DD - agreeing that this was confusing and shouldn't have happened because I already do pay by DD. It might be connected to the DD payment holidays but it still needs to be looked into as it might be something that affects lots of customers - essentially anyone being put on the payment holiday. So they need to look into that.
Also took a screenshot of the Full Tariff Info page which states that my billing would be Payment on receipt of bill. The teams need to see what's happening here and what needs to be amended/how this can be resolved.
My new quote is set at the correct rates for DD customers - initially as it would have been before the EBSS payment was factored in and then adjusted to take the EBSS into account. It now tallies with the quote on the body of my renewal email .... all that remains is to sort the DD payment holiday again if that's not already been done as I type. Hopefully all will be okay - it's been a challenging two weeks but hopefully I can start to breathe again now!

i think itโs the volunteers who deserve the main credit for persisting with this until finally sense prevailed. At the end of the day us volunteers only have powers of persuasion, without any ability to effect change to customer accounts. -
