Thanks for posting your issues above about the tariff not updating on the electricity.
I've made our tech team aware - please note, when you're billed, you should be billed on the correct rates and the issue you're seeing online is a cosmetic issue.
These will be updated in bulk soon so that the correct rates show.

Has anyone seen their DD reduce (other than the £67) since being moved from v18 (or other fixed tariffs)? Mine is still set at the 'fixed' level and shows no sign of being updated to reflect the reduced tariff rates.
Mine is the same. It reduced by £67 but has not taken into consideration my reduced tariff rates. I'm letting this month's DD get taken and then I will work out what I think it should be from next month onwards and give them a ring to negotiate.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
That's my plan too! I'd hoped there might be some communication from EON on the subject (and I know they're busy etc.), but even 1 line on their website to say "we're still making updates" or similar might have stopped the vast number of posts and queries on the forum.
@Rads81
Agreed. Better communication would have paid dividends - will they learn the lesson for the future.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Sorry that this still hasn't been updated just yet. We recognise that this is more widespread and a fix is pending to be applied, I answered another forum member about this earlier here too.

Can you just confirm that the adjusted rates after the full 17p/kWh reduction for electricity will be reduced to whatever your regional cap rate is rather than the average cap rate (34.04p/kWh). So for example with me being in Northern region should expect to see my Online (and billed) v18 unit rate fall from its current 34.01 to 32.24p/kWh and for someone in Yorkshire region the rate would fall to 33.03p/kWh, but London would only go to 35.80p/kWh?
Yes, this is absolutely how it should work. So that I can test this, would you be okay for me to pull a reading from your electricity smart meter and bill you to this (I'll remove this afterwards and won't actually send you a bill, but wanted to ask first as you will see a meter read appear on your account)

Yes you are OK to do this. Can you let me know (PM or reply in this thread) whether your test was successful. I should expect to see the electricity rate for my Northern region @ 32.24p/kWh (inc VAT) or 30.705 (exc VAT) on the bill generated. 🤞
