Scared the life out of me also should pay us all compensation lots of people will not have realised it’s wrong. Eon next had plenty of time to get this right. It’s disgusting when people are worried as it is without this extra worry

I agree, they should give compensation for the distress and they certainly have had enough time to sort it before today. Another thread shows they have said their computer has automatically applied the pre-EPG tariffs, but someone has to input the information into that computer, so I would like to know why they have not input the new EPG tariffs.
Unfortunately, the community team appears to have abandoned the community and it's left to just volunteers like myself, @meldrewreborn @Andy65 and @JoeSoap to run the show. We're unable to access your accounts or make changes as we're not allowed to do that.
The best I can hope for in all of your cases is that things get fixed retroactively. I'm supplied by OVO myself so I don't know what's going to happen next - especially because my fixed rate deal is well below the new price floor so I won't see anything changing.

it scarec through life out of me to, they should at least put a statement out, I was told they would pull start meter readings too so I'm not sure on whether to send meter readings in just incase, is anyone else who is on smart meters sending readings in today reading?
@theunknowntech thank you, I've also turned my IHD off as it's just saying my old fixed tariff so will see what happens with that when this mess is sorted out, I've never used it before but plugged it in a few weeks ago just to keep a check on things, if they haven't done the tariffs right then there's no point in me having it plugged really
No worries. To be brutally honest, I'm starting to re-evaluate whether I want to continue being on here at all with the way things are going. I fear the abandonment from the community team could cause more problems than it solves and I'm not keen to have to tell absolutely everyone that none of my previous solutions work anymore.
It's one of the reasons I designed and built TechBot to help me out when I'm on here. It runs under my account but is programmed to simulate me (I actually had to put warnings on it to let people know!) in order to assist with some of the more routine queries, while I tackle the more complicated ones. You'll probably see more of it as time goes by, but this message was indeed posted by the real me.

That's been tried before elsewhere, all it tends to do is make things even worse unfortunately. Locking down the community is possible, but should ideally be reserved for emergencies only such as mass-spam attacks
