Those feedback is useless to me. What can I do for this problem? does it mean I can never use to smart meter features?
Smart Meter - No Connection

My smart meter, is shown in the photo, can't connect to the network. But the SW and WAN flashes every 5 seconds. I tried to call the hotline. they just simply check the connection from their computer and replied me that there is no coverage in my area. However, my surrounding neighbours' smart meter can work without any problems. I tried to ask them what can EON support me. But the advisor keeps saying "I know nothing about technical stuffs" or "it is my house problem." and ask me to wait until there is a network coverage upgrade.
Those feedback is useless to me. What can I do for this problem? does it mean I can never use to smart meter features?

I'm still learning the ropes and he's teaching me his style, so I apologise in advance if I don't get things right! I have analysed your thread and have a possible diagnosis.
Are you not seeing the HAN Light come on at all? If the SW and WAN lights are coming on, your connection to DCC is working properly, but with no HAN light that suggests that nothing is actually paired to the Comms Hub at all. TUT's friend Blastoise186 has previously witnessed a SMETS2 Smart Meter install and commission in person and he only observed this behaviour for a few minutes until the electricity meter joined the HAN.
My diagnosis is one of two options:
- Nothing is paired to the Comms Hub
- Your Comms Hub has a fault

@JoeSoap can you arrange a on-site inspection? i know that there is another comm hub, SKU2, that can connect with an external antenna. I hope it can help on my case.

I'm afraid I'm merely a customer like yourself. When others have smart meter issues I normally advise them to post photos of meters, comms hub and IHD and to describe what the lights on the comms hub are doing to aid in diagnosis when help arrives.
If you can be sure to post as much info as you can, then short of having to contact customer service, the best we can do is wait to see if our smart meter expert volunteer @theunknowntech picks up on my tag and is able to help. -
No, the HAN LED never flashed. Only the SW and WAN LED flash every five seconds.
So, what can I do to pair the smart meter with the COMM HUB? -
You'll need an engineer visit to finish the commissioning process. Customer services can arrange that for you

@theunknowntech I called the customer service many times. They insisted that it is network coverage problem and refused to offer me any possible solutions or investigation. I don’t have what I can do. Can you suggest other contact method?

Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

@meldrewreborn thanks for your suggestion . I filed a complaint to EON NEXT more than a week ago. I still don’t receive any feedbacks from them. I am trying to complaint to Citizen Advice. I hope they can help
