Many thanks, I've found the site, all very confusing though and doesn't make sense as the Next online v20 direct debit version (I have switched to) lists electric /kwh at 67.11p when I am now paying 72.44p/kwh. The gas is the same at 16.85p/kwh. Obviously the Netflex is a much less for electric at 27.86p/kwh (for now at least) and for gas 7.37p/kwh. My last bill also tells me that i am on the cheapest fixed tariff (which is obvious as they only have one fixed tariff listed) but the Netflex is the cheaper option but could rise. The standing charge is pretty much the same.
Fixed rate tarrif - right to move back to SVR?

@RachB
I’m confused by that too. I just had a look for my postcode and the v20 prices were similar to what you read on there for yours. I’m not on v20 so couldn’t compare.
There are other fixed tariffs available to me, namely 1 year v21 but these are not online tariffs so are more expensive.
What a carry on all this is at present.I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit. -
Generally online tariffs offer the least expensive options and fixed prices in tariffs assume substantial increases in Jan 2023 and beyond. Since we don’t yet know how any new support package will work selecting a fix now is problematic.Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

I think @JoeSoap it was a requirement laid down by Ofgem, one of the very few thinks that I think they've done that actually benefits the customer 🙄 -
@JoeSoap Yes, I could accept that I was paying a little more to lock the prices in, but since it looks like there will be a freeze on SVR, it’s a case of working out what will happen. Hopefully Eon will announce soon. (When the Government confirm what they are doing) 👍

Eon replied to my whatsapp and confirmed you can switch at any time. I guess for me, personally, it will be a decision tomorrow to see if I should cancel during cooling off period or try to switch to the EV tarrif with Octopus (which is what I want and Eon don't do them right now)

Morning Rach 😊 - when looking at tariffs online you must remember that they do not show a VAT charge, hence why it may look cheaper when looking at your prices.🌍 Striving for a bigger, better and sustainable world!

@Han_EONNext Is it possible to change from a fixed tariff back to variable online ? Or does it have to be done via phone ?

How do you go about cancelling your fixed rate to go back to SVR? can see nothing online when logged in to do it, dreading having to call in to do it , will be on hold for ever!
