Has smart gas & elec (SMET1) meters fitted by EDF back in 2017, and have been dumb since leaving EDF back in 2018. Been with EON for over 2 years now and still haven't been updated. Is it possible to finally get my meters smart again? Thanks
Could you post some photos of your meters please? I've got a lookup table that can give rough estimates of when S1 meters are likely to migrate to DCC, but it's based on the meter make/model so I can't pinpoint it for your exact meters. Any photos you can show me would help a lot though.

Hi @theunknowntech, please see attached photos of my gas and elec meters. According to DCC, it’s says they are already on the smart network, but they certainly aren’t sending readings to Eon. Thanks
Sure thing. I'm not seeing any obvious issues here based on your photos, and if DCC is now managing them, they should be connected. Let me get a moderator to check the read schedule is configured properly and pull some readings, as that should confirm if they're working as intended. @PeterT_EONNext could you take care of this one?
Hi @Marvelley I'm sorry that your meters haven't been sending your readings to us!
Everything seems to be connected just fine, we're having a little trouble polling the readings from your meters and I believe this is due to the schedule not being set up correctly on your account. With your ITRON meters, we have to have this set to the 1st of each month which your account wasn't set to.
I've sent off a request to have the meters send us readings on 1st of each coming month so that we can use these to bill you accurately.
Please let me know of course if your May bill/account doesn't show any readings for the 1st so I can take a further look into this for you.

I'm sorry to see that your Smart Meters still haven't communicated to us since the changes were made in May.
I've had a look again today and we're still not able to take any readings, so I've escalated this to our Smart metering team so that they can investigate the cause further, we should know more within the next 4 weeks, so please provide manual readings from your meter still at the moment.
But is it for the same reason(s)? If you post some more detail its possible your issue can be sorted more quickly.
