I have an Itron em425uk "smart" meter which was installed by EDF in 2017. In August 2018 I switched to EON and since that the meter is no longer submitting readings in 30-minute intervals.
WAN light is active from time to time, pulsing about twice per second.
As far as I understand DCC is migrating these meters (This Itron is supposed to be part of that cohort).
1) Has any former EDF client with the same Itron model already been migrated by DCC and restored back to work in a smart mode?
2) Is EON keeping the list of dormant meters and has DCC been informed of them?
The DCC program to enrol Smets1 meters is ongoing to the end of this year. If meters cannot be Enrolled then they’ll have to be replaced with be meters . Hang tight.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
On the DCC website they have 3 stages after a successful enrolment, which is achieved in minutes on a fresh install in 91% of cases. It still takes another 8 weeks for things to sctually work from the customers viewpoint. The customer has virtually no means of solving these matters. At least you can contact Eon next, the DCC might as be in the andromeda Galaxy - they are not contactable by customers
I have been researching and found interesting data. EON exposes an internal target date for migrations via API. In my case, it is set to 23rd Feb 2022. I wonder how behind they really are.
S1 means smets1 targetSSD means target smart start date.
