I saw it amongst the news items in Microsoft Edge. The whole article is in the Daily Mirror Online. I never usually believe a lot of what's in the tabloids, but there could be truth in that article.😂

Sometimes the smart meters can lose connection and we are unable to pull recent meter readings as we do bill the account up to date before issuing a refund. If you wish to you can pop me a dm with your account details so I can confirm this for you. 😊

very weird but eon were able to read my meter to generate my current bill. Very strange that !!

so at the moment all seems as it should be. Will have to see what happens .
