Hi.

Can I have a new outside meter fitted please because according to this forum staff / people the meter I have is rubbish, and E.ON themselves say they can't connect to it to take a reading, so I have to do it manually.

It's not the end of the world, but, if it's there to act in that way then lets get it changed for one that does actually work so my bills are accurate and not guestimated.

I do send readings in, but this would be easier.

Question. What about the Gas meter? Why are these also not smart metered for accurate readings too?

To answer your last question first, there are gas smart meters available. As for all your questions/requests, maybe @theunknowntech can offer some thoughts but I would imagine it would be best to contact Eon Next through more official lines if you would like new meters fitted…
