i have the Next Reward Days Fixed 12m v2 tariff, but i have a question for the free electricity days, is there any limit to how much you can use, for example can i leave my electric heaters on for 24/7, can i power a Hadron Collider from my flat /joke 😂 even if i wouldn't normally do that? i don't want to max out my electricity only to find out about some fair usage policies etc.
Between 24th - 26th December 2024, customers would not be charged for electric consumption or standing charges! Take a look at our thread NEW Next Reward Days Fixed 12m tariff!to find out more!
From 00.00 on 24 Dec to 23.59 on 26 Dec inclusive.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

Can you tell me what are the times the free tariff applies please? Does it commence at midnight on the start of the 24th and end at midnight at the end of 26th?
And will I be able to see the tariff on my home display as 0.0p?
Thanks.
I would imagine that your bills will be credited accordingly so that you get the free electricity. I would think that it's easier for them to do that than have to send tariff updates to everyone's meters to set them to zero (if that's even possible), then repeat it 3 days later. Tariff updates to meters aren't always that reliable either, it's fairly common for meters to have incorrect meter tariffs but they are billed correctly.
The price on your IHD comes from the meter and is more of a guide, only the kWh from the meter is used for your actual bill.
So don't expect your IHD to show a zero tariff. I'd take a meter reading from the IHD now and at the end of the free period, then just check that your next bill has been credited correctly.
