was wondering if anyone has had the same issue I have had and that’s in one day I’ve had lots of money coming and going from my account, in November I had an amount of roughly 5500 debited and then 4500 credited back onto my account, this has happened several times with varying amounts, don’t know if it’s just the app being weird or if it could be something more sinister. I’ll be calling Eon Next but just wondered if anyone else has had something similar

Hi all,
was wondering if anyone has had the same issue I have had and that’s in one day I’ve had lots of money coming and going from my account, in November I had an amount of roughly 5500 debited and then 4500 credited back onto my account, this has happened several times with varying amounts, don’t know if it’s just the app being weird or if it could be something more sinister. I’ll be calling Eon Next but just wondered if anyone else has had something similar -

If your readings have been estimated for a long time, and then a confirmed reading is obtained, then to correct the billing previous bills are reversed and new bills created, and because for many the prices change every quarter that can mean a lot of changes.
And when the simple underlying reason isn’t explained, it naturally causes some confusion. Always best to submit accurate readings at least on jan 1st, and April 1, July 1 and October 1, as these are tariff change dates, and more frequently if possible to keep you account accurate and avoid big shocks.Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Evening @Pbh95 You are certainly doing the best thing contacting Customer Services. There are quite a few threads on the forum which might be worth looking at. Here's just one:
