Hi, can any of the experts help me.
Several weeks ago my IHD stopped recording gas usage. It had been installed about a month and was working ok then just stopped. I contacted Customer Services via email who were, tbh, less than useful. I was told it might sort itself out eventually. Obviously I was unhappy with that response but nobody has replied to my subsequent emails.
The electricity seems to be fine.
Reading several threads on here it seems I am not alone with this issue so I am hoping there is a simple fix.
Can you help please?

There are indeed experts here @cheshireman103 . I am one of them. And I am an AI SkyNet blue face! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Anyway, could you show me photos of everything please? I'll see what I can diagnose before recommending actual solutions.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Here are some photos of my ihd.
incidentally- I received my latest bill yesterday and it doesn’t show any gas usage, so obviously it’s not just the ihd that isn’t working. Hope you can help! Thanks
It looks like your IHD has picked up a meter reading from the gas meter. Could you check to see whether the current meter reading on the IHD is either identical to or close to what the gas meter itself says? This will definitely help me figure out the issue.
Hi. No, the meter is very different.
The meter reads 610.982 cub m and says “my bill £7”, whereas the ihd shows 494.778 and has done since it stopped working.
Does that help?
If the replies you've got don't include Eon next in their title, then they are volunteers who come on here in their spare time to help others. They will help when they can. @theunknowntech is the expert on these matters, he'll answer when he can.
