They have messed up the tariff change regarding the Energy Price Guarantee and now can't cope with the volume of messages and complaints. All a problem of their own making.
If you wish, you can still change supplier but you may have to do so over the phone. I'd recommend waiting at least a week before attempting it though, to let Meter Reading Day Part 2 calm down a bit

I have tried to contact their customer service without success
You cannot get through over the phone. They don’t respond to messages on WhatsApp, Facebook or twitter. I have emailed and got no Response
they have me on the wrong tariff and are overcharging me. How do I resolve ?? What are my options ??
I'd be very surprised if Eon Next are manning the phones this weekend likewise with the other social media platforms.
Everyone's online account will need to be updated. Yes it could/should have been done at the stroke of midnight but I guess running batch files to update everyone's online account to show the actual unit rate that will be paid from October 1st is going to take some time. More time than most of us have patience I guess.
What is going to be even more important is the actual billing that takes place in early October and that the EPG rates are applied correctly to those whose statement dates are early this month. It would help enormously if Eon Next would publish the EPG rates they intend to apply from today and then we are able to check that the billing has been carried out correctly! Some people will begin to receive bills shortly including these early days of October and they need to have the correct tariffs applied to those periods 1st October-? October.
In the absence of a comprehensive document outling all the EPG for all the regions and a sppedy update to the online account rates, folk could reassure themselves with what they will be billed by checking on the MSE Price Cap Rates
