SMET2 upgrades

    Hi,

    Has anyone else been waiting for a working smart meter for years?
    Back in 2018, we had a smart meter installed (Smet 1 I believe).
    Was told then that they couldn't take remote readings because of our mobile connection (I think?). In January 2020 Eon told me that we'd be upgraded to Smet 2 meter "within a few months".

    Now, however, we are told:

    In regards to a smets1 meter, they will be updated to work the same as smets2 meters by the Data Communications Company, but there is no set date on when this will be fully completed to all customers. We would ask you to please at the moment send us over your meter readings directly from the meter when you are due your bills.

    Is anyone else having the same problem?

    Hey @apemyr ,

    I can try to advise on this, but I could do with seeing photos of your meters please. 2018 was the year when S2 meters started to roll out, but S1 meters were still being installed. I'll need to identify what meters you have in order to give the right advice.
